If you can hit any type of ball hard, fast and long, then head to any of its 104 stores across the UK over the May bank holiday weekend (May 23-26) to register your entry.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>As well as prizes from Garmin, the overall winner will be sent on an all-expenses paid trip to America to take part in the 2016 RE\/MAX World Long Drive Championships.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>\u201cPeople who are successful on the Long Drive scene aren\u2019t necessarily from golfing backgrounds, which is why we are encouraging as many people as possible to come in store and have a go,\u201d said Daniel Gathercole, head of marketing at American Golf. \u201cWe\u2019re looking for new talent from surprising places!\u201d<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>Competitors will get three attempts to hit the ball as far as possible. There will be drivers in store to borrow, or \u2013 just as long as it conforms to current regulations \u2013 golfers can bring their own clubs. There are three categories: Open, Senior (45+) and Ladies.
