Major champion Georgia Hall has announced she is expecting her first child.<\/p>\n
The 29-year-old shared the news through the AIG Women\u2019s Open\u2019s official website and Instagram, confirming the baby is due early in the New Year.<\/p>\n
Hall, who has not competed since finishing tied 25th at the PIF London Championship in August, revealed she is expecting a boy.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt will give me a different purpose and a new perspective on my golf,\u201d Hall said. \u201cI\u2019ve been on tour for more than 10 years, mostly thinking about myself.<\/p>\n
Now, starting a family feels really special and it will be lovely to have a son there to watch and share it with me.\u201d<\/p>\n
